Having studied English Literature at The University of Kent, Mia initially ventured into human resources post-graduation before transitioning to actuarial recruitment. 

Mia spent 2 years working as an Associate Consultant in the non-life actuarial sector, collaborating with various insurance companies in roles encompassing Pricing, Reserving, and Capital.

She is driven by a desire to support both candidates and clients, leveraging her prior recruitment experience to assist candidates in finding their ideal role whilst simultaneously aiding clients in sourcing top-tier talent in the market.

Mia joins Star as a Senior Consultant working within Pensions and Investment.
