Major reinsurance firm is seeking a qualified actuary to provide support to the Chief Actuary in designing and driving the actuarial function’s people strategy and leading on engagement with key business strategic initiatives which impact the function.
You will help to define the actuarial people strategy and define specific initiatives and deliverables to improve the employee proposition, talent development, succession plans and retention.
You will also support and participate in due diligence, integration planning, and integration of new acquisition targets, providing challenge to targeted headcount synergies on a team-by-team basis for new deals.
In addition, you will engage with key business strategic initiatives which impact actuarial, acting as lead where relevant whilst providing functional knowledge and expertise.
With experience of managing large budgets and resource plans, alongside experience of Merger and Acquisition activity on large scale integrations, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Corporate Governance frameworks.
Good basic understanding of Life and Pensions industry and market is preferable.
