    Our client, a major insurer, has multiple opportunities for graduates and part-qualified GI actuaries to join their team where you will focus on the Household line of business, developing and maintaining product pricing for prospective new products and new business tenders.

    In these diverse career development opportunities, you will manage periodic risk rate analyses, investigate new techniques and sources of data that will improve risk selection, retention and new business conversion, and hence profitability.

    In addition, you will maintain systems to monitor the performance of accounts in terms of business flow, claims experience at a detailed level, and competitor prices. 

    With a detailed understanding and current knowledge of personal lines general insurance products and pricing, the successful candidates will possess good knowledge of relevant software packages including Microsoft Office & SAS.

    You will also understand the modelling techniques specifically relating to Pricing and Reserving.

    Candidates crossing over from other actuarial disciplines will be considered.
