In this cross-functional and strategic role, you will lead the delivery of the ORSA and Recovery and Resolutions plans while collaborating with the wider Risk function to ensure effective risk management of commercial opportunities.

Key to the role is maintaining the Group’s Risk Appetite, Stress and Scenario Testing and other key Line 2 owned frameworks, alongside supporting the wider function by helping design and maintain effective and efficient risk oversight activities for Line 2 that is proportionate and risk-based.

To be successful in the role, you will have an in-depth understanding of life insurance products (in particular BPA and annuities), regulatory and reporting frameworks (Solvency UK, IFRS 17, UK GAAP), and the principles of business planning, balance sheet management and optimisation.

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonl and influencing skills are also a must.
