Star Actuarial is currently working with a leading digital insurer in the hunt for part-qualified or qualified GI actuaries to join their fast-paced, cross-functional pricing function where you will provide bespoke solutions on an industrial scale.

Joining a major disruptor of insurance markets in these brand-new, highly technical and hands-on roles, the successful candidates will lead the development and implementation of data-driven pricing frameworks.

Drawing on your prowess for strategic thinking and technical expertise, you will execute pricing strategies to achieve profitable growth and competitiveness, working in a dynamic and agile way to refine pricing models in response to market demands.

In addition, you will collaborate with MGAs and internal teams to support pricing decisions, product design and portfolio management.

With experience in pricing roles gained from the UK insurance sector (covering Motor, Home and/or SME), successful candidates will have experience with P&C pricing tools (AKUR8, RADAR, EARNIX or equivalent).

Strong programming skills in SQL and/or Python alongside experience with machine learning models and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) also required.

Talented pricing experts with no actuarial exams will be considered and exam support will be offered for those who are studying.
