Our client is seeking a high-quality actuarial student with a thirst for learning and applying Data Science techniques to improve portfolio performance.
 
In this exciting role, you will work with clients and other teams within the firm including:

• Pricing
• R&D
• Underwriting
• Claims
• Marketing
• Global Data science team

 They is flexibility on previous experience and the role is open to crossovers from any sector.

To be successful in this role you are likely to have skills and experience in a number of the following areas: 

• Pricing experience
• Analysis of big data sets
• Application of Data Science techniques, ideally to insurance data sets
• Producing reports or presentations incorporating data visualisation techniques
• Coding skills (Python is ideal)
• Experience with SAS
• A good knowledge of Protection Products
• Strong communication skills
• Progress with the actuarial exams
