With commercial pricing experience (SME or speciality), the successful candidate will have knowledge of experience and exposure-based pricing methods.

You will also possess experience of working with underwriters to help embed pricing related change alongside training underwriters on pricing tools and related metrics.

In addition, you will have the ability to work with other actuaries to improve models including fine-tuning assumptions and methodologies.

Proficiency in a coding language (Python strongly preferred; R preferred) would be desirable, as would experience in one or more of London Market, Lloyd’s or reinsurance pricing.
