Star Actuarial is currently partnering with a market-leading global financial services consultancy which prides itself on its ability to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful work which has a positive impact for clients and on society.

And you could be part of that journey, joining the firm as a risk and capital expert at a point where that proposition is rapidly expanding and continually replicating success.

With offices all over the globe, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best minds in the actuarial community, alongside forward-thinking, innovative specialist across wider disciplines.

We are representing multiple roles for actuaries of varying experience (from nearly-qualified to fully-qualified with a number of years' experience under their belt) which offer the unrivalled chance to tackle some of the biggest questions in the non-life industry for an unparallelled, diverse portfolio of clients.

In these excitingly varied positions, you will provide cutting-edge advice covering: solvency; economic capital; risk management; mergers and acquisitions; company restructuring and risk control; financial modelling; business planning; new legislation; and the optimisation of reporting processes.

Working as part of a team of astute and brilliant problem solvers, you will play a key role in solving challenging business issues, from strategy to execution.

Sound good?

Well that's not all!

You will also be given the opportunity to take ownership of developing a core product area within risk and capital, such as risk challenge or ESG.

An agile, commercial-driven thinker, the successful candidates will have strong knowledge of capital modelling and risk management techniques as well as experience of model development, implementation and validation.

Experience across wider spaces offered by our client (such as catastrophe risk, reserving & pricing, deals, IFRS17, audit) would be nice to have, as would a keen interest in new and emerging areas (e.g. cyber, climate, ESG).

Experience of capital modelling software packages (e.g. Igloo, ReMetrica, Tyche) would similarly be advantageous.

These vacancies represent a matchless possibility to grow your career within one of the biggest firms in the business while still having the freedom and support to innovate and collaborate.

So actualise that possibility and apply now!
