Are you a qualified actuary with significant reserving experience in general insurance, seeking to take the next step on your career ladder within a major insurer?

Then this is a fantastic opportunity to join our client's Risk & Compliance team as the technical subject matter expert for reserving, leading the delivery of the Actuarial Function’s independent opinion on IFRS17 and Solvency UK reserves.

You will also lead the 2nd line oversight of reserving and claims indemnity risks, supporting the firm in making key business decisions to achieve financial targets.

In addition, you will produce the reserving reports for the Executive Committees and Board and contribute to the annual Actuarial Function report, the ORSA and SFCR.

With analytical problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will have experience of managing key stakeholders and leading a team.

Experience of risk management desirable.
